Premier League – 22/23 FPL GW9 wrap up

The Premier League returned after an international break and it brought the goals – especially in the Manchester Derby which saw a total of 9 goals scored. However, while there were 9 goals in that clash, the game of the weekend was clearly Liverpool’s 3-3 draw with Brighton. The Reds came from two goals behind in that match to lead 3-2 at one point, only for Leandro Trossard to complete his hat-trick and earn his side a point in the 83rd minute of the match.

Totally Buzzed’s 22/23 FPL GW9 – League Summary – Current Standings

The top ten of the Totally Buzzard FPL League got a much-needed shake-up in every position bar one, with that position being the top spot. Team Oil Can’t Buy continued to stay in first and also managed to extend their lead at the top after racking up 93 points. Team Mine Is Gold moved second at the expense of Team Superteds barmy army, while Team Alexa Blissett, Team Kolo Tayo FC, Team Ben Jr, and Team skeppy1586 all broke into the top 10.

While there were several changes in the top 10, there wasn’t any movement regarding the bottom three. Team Fox city, Team Stunos FC, and Team Wasted Youth 25 all remained in the relegation zone, and this was the case even though Team Fox city scored an impressive 73 points.

Yet it’s only been seven weeks of action, so there’s plenty of time for teams to surge up the table, as FPL is a marathon, not a sprint.
