Totally Buzzed’s 22/23 FPL GW8 – League Summary – Current Standings
While most of the top ten had a shake-up this week, one thing didn’t change and that was Team Oil Can’t Buy’s reign at the top of the table. The league leaders scored an impressive 72 points and are now 15 points clear of Team superteds barmy army as a result. It’s worth noting there were some new faces among the top 10 this week, with Team Change Name, Team Khatesh FC, Team Cheesy Toast, and Team Ben jnr getting themselves into the mix for the first time this season.
As for the bottom of the table, Team Fox City and Team Wasted Youth 25 both scored a very respectable 63 points, which has perhaps given them some hope that they’ll soon move out of the bottom three. There’s also a new face in the relegation battle as Team Stunos FC now sits 111th in the table after scoring a measly 23 points.
Yet it’s only been seven weeks of action, so there’s plenty of time for teams to surge up the table, as FPL is a marathon, not a sprint.
