Premier League – 22/23 FPL GW11 wrap up
Goals may not have come thick and fast this week in the Premier League unless you were at Craven Cottage, but there were still some notable results. Arguably the most notable result came from the game of the weekend which was Liverpool’s 1-0 victory over Manchester City. Jurgen Klopp’s side have had a disappointing start to the season but that didn’t seem to matter on Sunday.
Other results:
Brentford 2 – 0 Brighton
Leicester City 0 – 0 Crystal Palace
Wolves 1 – 0 Nottingham Forest
Fulham 2 – 2 Bournemouth
Tottenham 2 – 0 Everton
Southampton 1 – 1 West Ham
Manchester United 0 – 0 Newcastle United
Leeds United 0 – 1 Arsenal
Aston Villa 0 – 2 Chelsea
Totally Buzzed’s 22/23 FPL GW11 – League Summary
There may have been surprising results in the Premier League this weekend but there was no surprise to be found at the top of the Totally Buzzed FPL League as Team Oil Can’t Buy kept their death grip on the top spot. Team Oil Can’t Buy scored a respectable 56 points to remain top, though perhaps they won’t be sitting too comfortably as Team Krasavchik FC moved into second place by scoring a very impressive 83 points this week. So if they can keep those sort of scores coming in, it might not be long until they’re sitting on top of the table.
However, while there was no change at the top spot, there was finally movement regarding the bottom three. Team Fox City after teasing an exit from the relegation zone in recent weeks, scored 53 points in order to leapfrog Team Fox city.
Yet it’s only been ten weeks of action, so there’s plenty of time for teams to surge up the table, as FPL is a marathon, not a sprint.
