Premier League – 22/23 FPL GW18 Wrap Up:
Another week of Premier League, and another week where certain results raised eyebrows. After all who would have seen Everton managing to deny Manchester City all three points by battling their way to a 1-1 draw or who predicted an in-form Newcastle United being kept at bay by Leeds United? Yet despite these two intriguing results, the one that likely put the cat amongst the pigeons the most was Tottenham’s 2-0 loss to Aston Villa. While Spurs’ performances this season haven’t been awe-inspiring, they’ve more often than not found a way to grind out a positive result – yet against Villa, all they tasted was disappointment.

Totally Buzzed’s 22/23 FPL GW18 – League Summary
After seeing a new league leader emerge in GW17, we quickly saw them knocked off their perch in GW18. Team Oil Can’t Buy fell into second after Team Mine is Gold scored 69 points in order to regain the top spot. However given there are only 9 points between them, this battle will likely rage on in the coming weeks.
As for the bottom of the table, there is nothing new to report as Team Factossuiii, Team Stunos FC and Team Wasted Youth 25 remain the bottom three.
With a double-game week on the horizon for some teams, the Totally Buzzed FPL is sure to look different after GW19, so make sure you stay tuned.
