This story was published on MediaITE and details how Christchurch in New Zealand had parted company with their official town wizard. Laura and Kayleigh discuss the concept of a town having a wizard, while Laura lists off everything the wizard has apparently done while in his official role. Laura of course used the magical and ever-reliable source that is Wikipedia, to go through the wizard’s accomplishments.

During their discussion, Laura and Kayleigh reference Harry Potter – the most famous wizard they know and Kayleigh makes a cheeky plea to Daniel Radcliffe as she wants him to sponsor the podcast. Also, Laura and Kayleigh discuss the type of mascot Great Britain could have, that would be the equivalent to New Zealand’s wizard, which leads to them referencing previous winners of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.

Disappointed burglar leaves message for SDM: ‘Why was the house locked when there was no money?’

Story two of the podcast comes from The Indian Express, which ends up seeing Kayleigh think about the classic Christmas movie ‘The Polar Express’. Once Laura gets the podcast back on track, Laura shares that the story states how a burglar left a note when robbing a location as they can’t believe the lack of valuables there are.

Kayleigh is deeply amused by this tale and states how it sounds like the burglar has left the equivalent of a bad yelp review.

Laura and Kayleigh then rank previous note-related crimes that have been mentioned on the podcast.

Motorist fined after CCTV confuses his number plate with woman’s T-shirt

Story three comes courtesy of The Guardian as well as the Daily Mail and tells the hilarious story of her a woman’s t-shirt got mistaken for a number plate, which led to a man receiving a fine in the post.

During this story, Kayleigh shares her complex history with parking and speeding tickets.
