Totally Buzzed’s League: FPL GW6 (News Bulletin)

FPL GW6 Summary

A shock loss for Manchester United, Arsenal cruising past Tottenham and a disappointing draw for Liverpool were the main headlines to come out of the Premier League this week. Man United’s 1-0 loss to Aston Villa would have particularly grabbed the attention of FPL players as the highly selected Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, and Luke Shaw were all low scorers. Ronaldo scored only two points, with Shaw as well as Fernandes somehow managing to score even lower with 0 points.

Elsewhere there were wins for Manchester City, West Ham, Everton, and Wolves. Wolves’ win came courtesy of a beautiful Raul Jimenez goal, with the striker scoring his first goal since returning from his serious head injury.

Leicester, Burnley, Watford, Newcastle as well as Palace and Brighton all had to settle for draws.

Team Sanchos Nachos held on to the top spot in the Totally Buzzed FPL league for a successive week after racking up 60 points, and Team MAN UTD stayed second after getting 49 points. However, there was a notable change in the rest of the top six as while former league leader Team Relegateland Niles moving back up to third was predictable, Team Hey, Ho, Nuno finished fourth after previously missing out on finishing in the top six.

While Team Hey, Ho, Nuno broke the status quo, there was still room for Team Up The Franchise and Team Nighthawks FC in the top six.

As for the bottom of the table, late comer Team Luc remains bottom but did manage to break the 100-point barrier this week as they now sit on 108 points. Team Pjanic at the Xisco also failed to climb the table and remains just one place above the bottom.
