Totally Buzzed’s League: FPL GW4 (News Bulletin)

FPL GW4 Summary and King of Gameweek 4

The return of Cristiano Ronaldo to the Premier League dominated the headlines and the conversation in FPL in GW4. The Manchester United attacker then proceeded to deliver the goods for every FPL player that counted on him as he scored twice in United’s 4-1 win over Newcastle United.

Elsewhere, title contenders Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester City all racked up wins, while Tottenham suffered a shock set-back as they lost 3-0 to Crystal Palace. Brighton, Wolves, and Arsenal also racked up wins. Yet Southampton and West Ham had to settle for just a point as they drew 0-0, with the very popular Michail Antonio disappointing those that selected him on FPL this week as he racked up a red card.

This week’s best possible team, as revealed by the official FPL’s Twitter account:

Team Sanchos Nachos dethroned Team Relegateland-Niles this week as they took the top spot after racking up 74 points to see them move on to 319 points for the season so far. An impressive score of 69 points saw Team MAN UTD take second place, which led to the former league leaders Relegateland-Niles having to settle for third place.

Dano Maniacs, Nighthawks FC, and Up The Franchise complete the top six, having been around the top of the table for all of the game weeks so far.

As for the bottom of the table, late comer Team Luc sits bottom as it was their first week playing. The newbie racked up a respectable 44 points but knows they have a lot of work to do, given their playing catch up.

Team Pjanic at the Xisco continued their struggles at the bottom of their table as a score of 43 points wasn’t enough to stop them from falling down a place in the table.

Team Seabiscuit, who was the previous latecomer to the league, rounded out the bottom three but an impressive score of 61 shows they’re on the right track when it comes to their ambitions to move further up the table.

Yet with it only being Gameweek 4, it’s still all to play for, so be sure to come back to see who the movers and shakers are in Gameweek 5.
