Totally Buzzed’s League: FPL GW19 & GW20 (News Bulletin)
FPL GW19 & GW20 Summary
Gameweek 19, much like the previous two gameweeks, was filled with postponed games. Yet the games that did go ahead certainly delivered the goals. This was especially the case when it came to Manchester City’s clash with Leicester City. The current league leaders predictably got the win but the scoreline was an eye-catching 6-3 in their favour.
Other Results in GW19:
West Ham 2 – 3 Southampton
Tottenham 3 – 0 Crystal Palace
Norwich City 0 – 5 Arsenal
Aston Villa 1 – 3 Chelsea
Brighton 2 – 0 Brentford
Newcastle United 1 – 1 Manchester United
While Gameweek 20 once again saw games postponed, quite a few managed to go ahead. However, unlike gameweek 19, goals weren’t easy to spot unless you were at the London Stadium or Old Trafford. Yet loads of goals aren’t always needed in their droves to make a game stand out and that was certainly the case at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Brighton was certainly headline-worthy, not just because of Thomas Tuchel’s side giving up more ground in the title race but because Brighton’s goal was a dramatic late equaliser courtesy of Danny Welbeck in stoppage time.
Other Results in GW20:
Southampton 1 -1 Tottenham
Watford 1 – 4 West Ham
Crystal Palace 3-0 Norwich City
Leicester City 1 – 0 Liverpool
Brentford 0 – 1 Manchester City
Manchester United 3 – 1 Burnley

Although there’s a clear battle for second-place going on, league leaders Team Sanchos Nachos have extended the gap between themselves and their closest rival over the last two game weeks and is now over 100 points clear of Team MAN UTD.
Team Kai Kai Kai Deliah and Team Hey, Ho, Nuno rounded off the top-six in GW20 and know they can’t afford to let their standards drop as there are a host of teams ready to pounce if they slip up.
The fight to avoid being in the bottom three has gone quiet as Team Luc, Team Pjanic at the Xisco, and Team 2. Bundesliga > PL seem resigned to being in the traditional relegation zone.
