Totally Buzzed’s League: FPL GW14 (News Bulletin)
FPL GW14 Summary
It’s starting to look like a festive fixture pile-up as the Premier League had plenty of midweek action to unpack. There were arguably two headline-worthy games in the mix too as Liverpool and Everton faced off in the first Merseyside Derby, while Arsenal and Manchester United wrote another page in their storied rivalry. Liverpool thrashed Everton 4-1 with Mohamed Salah’s star shining brightly and Manchester United achieved a narrow win over Arsenal by beating them 3-2. Cristiano Ronaldo stole the headlines in that match due to scoring a brace, however, it’s worth noting Arsenal’s opening goal won’t be forgotten for a while. The Gunners opened the scoring on Thursday as Emile Smith-Rowe struck the ball into the net while David De Gea was down in a heap on the floor after his teammate Fred accidentally stood on his foot.
